    Most of our team has spent substantial time in the food and beverage world - we love building bars and restaurants. The challenge of building something that’s durable and safe while also aesthetically pleasing is something that we genuinely love to do.

There’s nothing more sustainable than a building that’s already built. Our career has been spent reviving and giving new life to dilapidated structures.

We understand how assemblies breath, how moisture travels, and what’s needed to modernize an aging home in a way that won’t shorten its lifespan. We work with the area’s top lime mortar specialists. We have relationships with the best electricians and HVAC techs. We create content for some of the oldest traditional material vendors.

We obsess over how to install stucco that won’t rot your house, or windows that won’t leak. We’ll track down vendors to ask them the right blend of products. We run scenarios in our minds and spend hours researching the best methods and materials for your project.

In older houses, there’s often unexpected challenges to work through. We spend the time to figure out the best way forward.

Bottom line: we stress the small stuff to get the job done right.

The secret to sustainable building isn’t composting toilets or smart thermostats. Both are great, no doubt, but sustainability is rooted in durable, well thought out construction.

Communication

We’re a busy general contractor running multiple jobs. Sometimes you’ll get our voicemail. Sometimes it might take a few hours for us to respond.

What we’ll never do is leave you in the dark. We’re not perfect, and we can’t always get to our phone. A common theme with all of our clients is that they’ve never felt like they can’t get a hold of us, they can’t communicate with us, or don’t know what we’re doing.
