West Philly Primary Bathroom & Stucco Remediation

From The Client:

β€œIn a world where everyone complains about their contractors, I genuinely cannot recommend Philly Green Building highly enough! Sasha and his crew did excellent work, have fabulous taste, are honest and dependable, and built us the bathroom of our dreams. Their work was careful and precise, with great attention to detail, and they always had thoughtful recommendations and solutions for any problems that arose. More important, they were warm, considerate, and generous housemates for the duration of the project, always cleaning up after themselves and taking great care to make sure our beloved cat stayed safe! I'd hire them again in a heartbeat, and I'd recommend them to anyone who asks without reservation!”

Full primary suite reconfiguration, soaking tub + walk-in shower, heated floors, massive windows, structural repairs, and a full stucco and fiberglass remediation.

New Construction. Same Old Problems.

While much of our work is dedicated to older and historical homes, we do a substantial amount of work in newly constructed homes. Ironically, this is where we find some of the worst underlying conditions.

This house was built by a now defunct LLC and was full of structural damage and flashing deficiencies. We were able to quickly bring in our engineers to come up with an affordable solution to get this home to a safe and stable condition, protecting the clients home, investment, and well-being.

Our scope:

  • Secure structural series + building permits

  • Demo existing 3rd floor and address underlying issues

  • Reconfigure primary bathroom to include soaking tub, walk-in shower, heated floors, and new double vanity

  • Install large Pella Windows and doors

  • relocate sprinklers + existing electrical and mechanical fixtures

  • remediate failing EIFS and stucco at side and rear of house

  • Rebuild fiberglass roof deck and repair water-damaged structural beams

  • Drywall, paint, framing, tile, plumbing, electrical
