Complete renovation + intense structural modifications throughout.
This amazing home was purchased sits on one of Philadelphia’s most iconic blocks and dates back to the early 1800’s. It was purchased directly from the previous owner without any inspections or contingencies. Our scope evolved from an interior remodel to correcting decades of deferred maintenance, performing delicate structural repairs, upgrading the entire MEP system, adding a state-of the art insulation and HVAC package, rewiring, finishing the basement, rebuilding crawlspaces and roof decks, repointing and rebuilding the entire exterior, and outfitting the home with custom, thoughtful details at every level.
What made this project so special for us was the collaborative nature between our team and the homeowners. There was no interior designer, architectural elevations, or any design work outside of our structural engineering (and floor plans). We designed this with input from the clients, our experience with historical homes and guidance from a great team of trade partners and trusted vendors.
